Interests

I have always had a love for arts and crafts. From drawing to painting, sculpting with clay to quilling with paper.

Did you know that Roku and Samsung TV have a 24/7 Bob Ross channel? He both inspires and makes me smile with his happy litte trees.

This summer I hope to visit Art and Vino. They host a variety of events and art classes. Their website even mentions Bob Ross classes later this Summer! Eek!

I grew up on video games, mainly playing titles like Mario Bros, Zelda, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.

I have an Animal Crossing themed Nintendo Switch, which is both a console and a handheld. I am eagerly waiting to play the remake of Paper Mario the 1000 Year Door, which was one of my all time favorite games to play as a kid.

The video on the left is of my 5 year old son playing Mariokart Home Circuit...also for the Switch.  I guess he is growing up loving video games too!

Good food soothes the soul.  I love kitchen hacks, baking, making new meals out of leftovers, and learning about food history.

Max Miller's Tasting History YouTube page is amazing, particularly the Titanic's final meals playlist. Another excellent series, Struggle Meals, Chef Frankie Celenza makes "delicious meals that won't break the bank."

I am gearing up to use my crockpot during the summer to avoid heating up my downstairs. Taste of Home has 77 different summertime slowcooker recipes for me to try.
